Both. Pedagogue is used by companies to test new hires as
well as existing employees. Organizations also use Pedagogue
for online certification testing
Does Pedagogue AMS support
self-registration for students?
Indirectly, yes. We are able to work with virtually any system
that can provide a roster to Pedagogue. This allows the student
to self-register and pay a fee if appropriate.
What’s required to run
Pedagogue AMS? Do I need special software installed on the
student computers?
Pedagogue uses a web browser for all student activities -
nothing needs to be installed on student machines. Pedagogue
AMS supports testing with MS Internet Explorer browser versions
6.0 and above, FireFox 1.5 and Opera 9.23.
What connection speed is needed?
As with all Internet content the faster your connection the
better the result. However, Pedagogue has been optimized to
work efficiently with standard dial-up connections.
Is the testing secure?
While it is almost impossible to make any web-based testing
application completely secure (since the exam is not proctored),
Pedagogue Solutions has nonetheless built in a number of features
to minimize cheating, including:
- Launch of test in a
browser window with standard controls (such as "Print")
removed
- Randomization of questions
- Timing of exam
- Questions presented
one at a time
Can I run Pedagogue AMS on
our company Intranet behind the firewall?
Absolutely, Pedagogue AMS is available as a licensed product
as well as through our ExamsDirect hosted models.
How is Pedagogue AMS a managed
solution?
Pedagogue offers many levels of management from hosting alone
to a fully hosted and managed assessment service. All you
need to do is provide the users and the test questions. For
many of our clients, who do not have in-house test development
expertise, Pedagogue Solutions provides test development and
psychometric services, helping ensure the validity of their
testing programs.
Can Pedagogue AMS be customized
to meet the needs of my organization?
Yes. Whether you want to license the product and manage it
yourself or want us to host and manager you site, Pedagogue

Is Pedagogue AMS only available
in English?
Of course not! Pedagogue AMS is currently available in 18
languages and is being used to test in over 70 countries.
How long will it take to set
up?
Depending on which hosting/management option you choose your
portal can be set up in and you can be testing in a few days.
Where does the content come
from?
You provide all content/questions. However we do offer question
and test validation services.
Can exams be timed?
Tests can have many different time limits. You can time per
test, or per question. If a test has sections, each section
can have its own timing. Of course you are able to have no
time limit at all.
What types of questions are
available with Pedagogue AMS?
Multiple choice, T/F, Y/N, All that apply, Single and Multiple
Fill-in-the-word, Matching, Drag and drop, Point and click,
Case and Survey types, and Acknowledgements.
How quickly will I receive
the test result reports?
Online reports are available to an administrator immediately.
How is Pedagogue AMS priced?
For ExamsDirect portals there is a modest one-time set-up
cost for each new client, plus a low monthly hosting and administrator

Does Pedagogue AMS sell its
client list?
Your privacy is important to us. Any information given to
Pedagogue Solutions will NOT be shared with anyone else. That
includes client names, email address and information.
